Former CIA senior executive Glenn Corn says Russian President Vladimir Putin’s biggest threat may be from Russia’s own elites.
In this interview with Independence Avenue Media, Corn argues that Russia’s economy is under growing strain, frustration among elites is increasing, and Putin’s power structure is showing signs of vulnerability. He discusses whether the war in Ukraine can be won militarily, the role of U.S. President Donald Trump in influencing Moscow, and what could happen if Putin eventually leaves power.
Corn also explains why economic pressure remains the Kremlin’s greatest challenge and why the United States should prepare now for a future Russia beyond Putin.
