Ukraine has gained a significant battlefield advantage through drone warfare, allowing Kyiv to target Russian logistics and reintroduce heavy military vehicles closer to the front lines, according to George Barros of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
In an interview with Independence Avenue Media, Barros explains how Ukraine’s growing drone supremacy has altered the battlefield, disrupted Russian operations and ushered in what he describes as a new phase of the war. He also warns that Russia is adapting and could eventually counter Ukraine’s current advantages.
