🇺🇸🇺🇦 Edward Wilton spent most of his adult life working as an attorney in Florida. His son, also Edward, chose a very different path, volunteering to fight for Ukraine after Russia’s full-scale invasion. He was killed in the Luhansk region at just 22.

After losing his son, Edward came to Ukraine himself. Today, he helps run “Hell’s Kitchen” in Kharkiv, where Ukrainians and volunteers from around the world prepare more than 1,200 meals a day — many of them for local hospitals. 🍞🥘

🌍 Volunteers from the United States, Britain, Poland, Japan, Sweden and other countries have joined the effort.

For Edward, it is also a way to continue what his son began: helping a country his family considers part of its own story.
