Nika Lomidze oversees operations, finance and strategic development at IAM, ensuring that the organization’s journalistic mission is sustained through disciplined financial management, efficient workflows and long-term institutional growth.  

Nika brings extensive operations experience to his role, having worked in Ukraine and Georgia and managed U.S.-funded governance and political party assistance programs across Eurasia, the Asia-Pacific and South Asia. 

Nika is a former Alexander Hamilton Society fellow. He holds bachelor’s degrees in foreign affairs and Russian and Eastern European studies from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in international relations from the France-based American College of the Mediterranean. A former rower for UVA’s men’s crew team and a defenseman for the Georgian national ice hockey team, Nika brings to IAM the same focus, teamwork and discipline that shaped his athletic career.
